General Laborer- Custodial

Summary:

The General Laborer - Custodial will perform janitorial functions at Deployed Services.

 Essential Functions:

• Maintain cleanliness of the facility to include, but not limited to:

• Dust and mop facility, Including floor, walls, and lights
• Vacuum all carpeted areas
• Wipe and sanitize all surfaces
• Empty trash and replace liners. Transport to dumpsters or outbound transfer areas, as needed

• Clean and disinfect areas throughout the facility to include, but not limited to:

•  toilets, sinks, door handles, glass doors, walls, flooring, and other areas, as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proven proficiency in janitorial operations
• Ability to troubleshoot systems and identify and correct problems
• Great organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours.  We operate 24/7/365.  Inside and outside, all weather conditions

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
• Must be able stand, sit, or walk for an extended time; move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps and lift up to 55lbs.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
• Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check and a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment. 

Supervisory Responsibility 

This position will have no direct reports. 

Work Environment

This position operates in a field work environment, seven days a week and holidays.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to walk unassisted for a minimum of 300 yards, climb stairs and be able to lift, move and/or carry up to 55 pounds
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time (during entire shift)
• Must meet all physical and psychological standards as required by the contract

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.60 - $22.17 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
