Responsibilities:
- Match the appropriate parts to the stringers
- Assembly of stairs by inserting tread and risers into the stringer, clamping the stair, gluing and hammering in wedges, gluing and stapling in the v-block, and nailing/screwing the riser into the back of the tread
- Remove stair from assembly table and move it to the punch out table
- Quality control by looking for any nail blow-outs, screw blow-outs, and making sure everything is properly seated and secured
- Cut and install scotia and wrap stairs as needed
- Stage stairs on skids for the loading department
- **Individuals hired in this department are expected to be cross trained in various sub-departments as needed.
- Being able to perform manual labor relevant to the specific department, such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

- Prior carpentry experience preferred by not required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37 – 40 per week
