General Laborer

SUMMARY

The General Laborer performs tasks involving physical labor for residential and commercial projects. This position requires operation of various hand & Power tools. Candidate must be reliable and hard-working.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

- Mowing and Trimming of Lawns.

- Use Spray Guns to Apply Waterproofing and Air Barrier to Commercial Buildings.

- Restaurant Hood and Exhaust Cleaning

- Pressure Wash Residential and Commercial Structures

- Caulking and Repointing

- Demolition of Interior Structures

- Trim Bushes, Shrubs, Trees and Remove Debris

- Operate Company Owned Vehicles, Material Handling, Lifts, Rental Equipment

- Ability to Pull a Trailer

- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior Mowing and Construction experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Not afraid of heights.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• This position may require the ability to lift 50lbs, bending, stooping, standing and walking. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

· This is a full- time position. This position may require some overtime and weekend work.

TRAVEL

· Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required on occasion.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

· Must possess a valid driver’s license.

· Ability to obtain clearances REQUIRED for Prevailing Wage Projects
