June Farms is a gentleman’s farm located on 120 acres of beautiful, fertile land in New York’s Upper Hudson Valley. We’re a gentleman’s farm in that we don’t profit from the sale of our animals or crops. Rather, we aim to be a safe haven for a whole host of heritage breeds, which are the breeds that predate factory farming – the same ones raised by our ancestors centuries ago. At June Farms, these include our Highland cows, Shire horses, Gloucestershire Old Spot & Tamworth pigs, Nubian goats, and chickens.
Since we first opened our barn doors in 2017, our mission has remained the same: To serve as a joyful and fun sanctuary for all of our heritage breed farm animals and the guests who come to visit them.
We do so by offering daily farm walks year-round. Whether in or out of season, guests can come to June Farms, explore our grounds, and pay a visit to each of our pasture-raised animals.
We also specialize in weddings and private events, including corporate parties, birthdays, and showers, year-round. Our passionate hospitality team curates a handful of gorgeous, rustic farm weddings each summer and fall. And we take reservations for private parties any time of year.
We are open to the public during our “in-season,” which extends from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The bar in our rustic chic lounge, called The Pony Barn, is open to the public on evenings in the in-season. And around the holidays, as well as other select times of year, we host special events that are ticketed and open to the public.
The other arm of our hospitality business is our cabin rentals. June Farms is home to eleven critically acclaimed cabins that can be rented on Airbnb or directly by phone year-round. Our five-star accommodations feature a modernized 1976 airstream, a luxurious lodge, and even a hobbit house – just to name a few.
