General Laborer

GENERAL LABORER| Summary:

Our General Laborer crews are essential to our ability to meet the needs of our clients. Keeping their properties compliant and in operating order with their drainage and stormwater systems gives this position high purpose. Not to mention, being outside for the bulk of your job is an added bonus.

GENERAL LABORER| Essential Functions:

• Performs general lawn maintenance on commercial properties of clients
• Handles labor to ensure water drainage systems are in working order-includes manual digging, mowing, planting, installing sod, site clean-up, etc.
• Inspects storm drain inlets, yard inlets, pipes, ditches, and streams
• Identifies issues with erosion, mechanical malfunctions, and structural failures
• Identifies common noxious weeds or plant species
• Completes appropriate paperwork such as service receipts or reports of work performed

GENERAL LABORER| Position Type and Expected Hours:

• Full-time position
• Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holidays required

Please note:

• Home Weekends unless on-call.
• Travels Monday-Friday if route goes out of town.
• Local work allows for home time during business week!

In order to visit client locations in Kansas and Nebraska

• Travel up to 100% Monday - Friday every week unless performing local work.
• Scheduled Overtime During High Seasons (summer months)

GENERAL LABORER| REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Valid driver's license is required for insurability purposes.

GENERAL LABORER| PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Licensed herbicide applicator is a plus
• Class E CDL preferred, but not required
• At least one year of general labor, landscape, or construction experience preferred

LANDSCAPER | WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Exposure to conditions such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures for periods of time is possible.

This employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.

LANDSCAPER | THE BENEFITS:

Competitive hourly wages depending on experience. Average $40k - $60k PER YEAR
