Functions
- To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture
- Receive training as required
- Perform various positions as required/assigned
Description
This position is responsible for non-skilled General Labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be able to write legibly and perform simple mathematical functions
- Must be able to read and follow written instructions
- Must be able to follow verbal instructions and communicate effectively
- Must be able to work well with a team.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to work on your feet for a period of 8-12 hours in a cold or hot environment.
Applicants who have previously worked for Tyson must wait a minimum of 90 days for rehire and must not have no more than 3 rehires.
