General Labor / Dispatch Routing For Hvac Distribution

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various duties including shipping and receiving, inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. You will be working General Labor transitioning into dispatching and routing. This is a full-time position located in Riverside.

Duties:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents
- Unload, sort, and store products in designated warehouse locations
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling items
- Maintain accurate inventory records using computerized systems
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Assist with organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of products
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill customer orders in a timely manner

Requirements:

- Must have Routing and Dispatching using VMS

- Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management software is a plus
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
- Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and GPS technology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
