Maintain the lodge and other facilities during the winter season, including painting, staining, sanding,
cleaning, repairing, salting, sanding etc. Janitorial cleaning of lodge, annex and employee housing
locations. Clean and maintain lodge areas, staff housing, public area bathrooms, hallways, and
common areas. Empty and clean all waste receptacles and transport waste to dumpsters. Clean
spills and other hazards with appropriate equipment in areas of new construction. Remove Debris
from worksites. Make minor building repairs, notify managers when a building needs major repairs,
secure buildings. Tools Used: Brooms, mops, rakes, sprayers, floor buffers/scrapers/polishers,
cleaning solutions, basic tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, hammers, dollies, vacuum
cleaners, ladders and scaffolding.
No education or prior work experience is required. Employer will offer 2 shifts, 7 days a week,
requiring 4 teams to cover the full week. Team 1 will work Monday - Friday, Team 2 will work
Wednesday - Sunday. The day shift is 6:00am - 3:00pm, and the night shift is 1:00pm -9:30pm.
Workers are needed to begin work on 12/20/2023 through 4/30/2024.
Availability of On-the-Job Training: The employer will provide on-the-job training in the proper use
and maintenance of landscaping power tools and equipment.
Single Workweek for Pay: The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing
wages due.
Frequency of Pay: Workers will be paid on Thursday on a weekly by check or direct deposit.
Deductions from the Worker’s Paycheck: The employer will make all deductions from the
worker’s paycheck required by law. Employer offers room and board in shared, dormitory housing
and will deduct $125-$180 at a rate of $125-$180 per week for these expenses for employees who
choose them. All deductions must be voluntary on the part of the employee and otherwise
reasonable according to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) principles at 29 CFR Part 531.)
Inbound/Outbound Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the
work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence.
Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will
provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or
to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to
subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a
worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or
reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the
distances involved.
Daily Transportation: Workers are responsible for daily transportation to and from the designated
pick-up location at the Rangeley, Maine. Employer will provide transportation to and from worksite
location in Franklin County via shuttle.
First Work Week Reimbursement: Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa,
visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the
government (except passport fees).
Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment: The employer will provide workers at no charge all
tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
3/4th Guarantee: The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of
the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.

Additional Wage Information
Workers will be paid no less than $18.17 per hour; overtime hours will be paid at $27.26 per
hour.
