PURPOSE STATEMENT
Responsible for processed dough and/or pack by hand frozen product into pre-made boxes; meeting customer specifications while ensuring food defense and quality.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/OUTCOMES
- Process dough on any Line as assigned to meet customer specifications, quality and food safety standards.
- Pack frozen products into pre-made boxes with bags on any line as assigned.
- Collect frozen samples.
- Keep work area clean and in 6S order; in compliance with GMP and BRC food safety standards.
- Take care of equipment, monitoring it and reporting problems to Team leader if they occur.
- Perform other job tasks as assigned.
- Communicate with and work with all associates
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Special certification may be required for use of forklift and chemicals
- Knowledge, skills, and ability to operate computer programs as needed
- One year experience in a manufacturing/ industrial environment
- Medium to high degree of judgment required
- Basic math skills necessary
