General Cleaning Positions
Maintenance and Management Associates is a cleaning company in Buffalo, NY and is seeking general cleaners and floor cleaners to join the team. The company is currently seeking applicants for a morn ing fill in position. This position includes filling in at our buildings when there is a call off or extra help needed. You will only be at one building a day but different buildings each week. MUST HAVE A CAR TO GET TO DIFFERENT BUILDINGS.

Responsibilities vary based off job but could include:

• Cleaning and maintaining floors. Using auto scrubber, high and low speed equipment.
• Perform various floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning ceiling vents, etc.
• Cleaning offices and other interior spaces of an organization
• General cleaning: trash removal, high and low dusting, restroom cleaning.
• Follow health and safety standards and safety procedures per OSHA, Maintenance and Management Associates’s safety procedures and policies
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Experience

• Experience in industrial floor care or General Cleaning is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing, etc. is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team as appropriate for the job.
• Ability to handle physical workloads (lifting heavy objects, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for long periods of time, etc.)
• Training offered some knowledge preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No weekends
