General Cleaner/Janitor

Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner/Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our client facility. This is a crucial role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for employees and visitors.

Duties:
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Utilize buffing machines to maintain the cleanliness and shine of floors
- Handle custodial tasks such as emptying trash bins and restocking supplies, cleaning restrooms, etc
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Perform general cleaning duties in accordance with established protocols
- Assist with reporting facility maintenance needs to client staff or supervisor

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required

This is a long term full time position with a schedule of Sunday-Thursday evenings from 6pm to 230am, 40 hours per week with opportunities for occasional overtime and advancement.
