Performs various clerical functions for the department(s) requiring in-depth knowledge of NSK policies & procedures as well as organizational sensitivity. Ability to act independently, with minimal supervision, and make decisions based on interpretation of administrative procedures.
- Performs secretarial duties as needed within NSK, generally for one or more Managers and their staff within one or more departments; assists with various projects as needed.
- Types memos and letters of a confidential nature, such as performance evaluations and confidential letters and reports.
- Compiles data into reports and presentations; attends meetings, takes and distributes minutes.
- Makes travel arrangements for one or more departments which may also include travel arrangements for interview candidates.
- Maintains files, sorts mail, and updates records for one or more Managers; periodically runs reports and distributes to department as necessary and compiles expenses into expense reports for various staff members.
- Coordinates plant-wide meetings and arranges appointments for one or more departments; coordinates the department(s) interview scheduling.
- Assists in writing Standard Operating Procedures.
- Basic HR functions including attendance, disciplinary actions, reviewing timecards, benefit enrollment, and etc.
