POSITION SUMMARY:
We currently have openings in the operations department for the following positions: (Shifts hours are from 5 pm -4:30 am)
- Galvanizing Production Equipment
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Follow established safety procedures when performing tasks and/or working with equipment.
- Move materials through the process tanks and zinc kettles.
- Learn how to pin rolls to enter the line and how to pull the completed rolls off at the end of the line.
- Must be able to identify the product being coated.
- Perform other related duties as necessary and as directed by supervisor.
- Maintain your area clean
- Maintain 5 S in your department
- Must be able to work overtime as required.
NECESSARY SKILLS, BACKGROUND & COMPETENCIES:
- Minimum one year of work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Must be able to work in a team-based, positive, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to understand written instructions and follow procedures.
- Must be able and willing to work 5 PM-4:30 AM. Employees average at least 40 hours a week, no more than 50.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
