Job Title: Gatehouse Attendant

Hours: Part Time, looking for a candidate who is flexible working day shift or night shift.

Position Overview & General Responsibilities:

The primary responsibilities of our Gatehouse Attendant are to permit authorized persons to enter the property and monitor the entrance and exit for our community. In this role, you will have support the safety of the community through watchful eyes and reporting any concerns to the appropriate person. You will have the opportunity to greet and interact with all residents, visitors, and team members that come onto Sunnyside's campus. You will play a key role in maintaining the safety of the campus by ensuring all who enter have the appropriate vehicle tag and/or permission to come onto campus. Your interactions with the residents, their families, and even current and potential employees will have an impact on their experience with us and you can make it a great one by providing campus maps, directions, and a smile as they drive off to their destination!

Requirements

• A valid Virginia Driver's licensure is required as you may patrol the campus in a Sunnyside owned vehicle.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• You must be able to identify potential critical issues quickly.
• Attention to detail is required in order to provide highest level of security possible.
• Someone in this role needs to be self-motivated and proactive.
