Gate Guard

Overview:
Steel Bison Security is currently looking for a night shift (0000-0800) Gate Guard in Cody, Wyoming. This is a fairly easy site, requiring you to patrol a small lot every 30-60 minutes and make a report on it. Due to the lack of amenities on site, we strongly encourage only those with a vehicle to apply. For the most part you will be in your personal vehicle watching the front gate.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain a secure environment
- Monitor site and detect any suspicious activity
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
- Complete accurate incident reports and maintain detailed records of security-related activities

Skills:
- Strong surveillance skills to effectively monitor and identify potential security threats
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques to prevent theft or damage to property
- Excellent conflict management abilities to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
