SUMMARY:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of store, as assigned. Will carry out functions vital to smooth operation of shop.
  • Will work to develop guest loyalty, provide superb customer service and respond to guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Follows all standard operating procedures and cash handling procedures.
  • Maintain inventory.
  • Maintain orderly and neat presentation of merchandise.
  • Perform duties related to stocking of inventory.
  • Provide outstanding level of Guest and Team Member service.
  • Maintain open line of communication with supervisor.
  • Perform duties and follow all procedures related to the opening and closing of the retail shop.
  • Monitor and report any problems or issues with regard to the operation of the store.
  • Maintains positive relations with all customers and Team members.
  • Assist guests with purchases of products.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills including tact, patience, and courtesy when dealing with guests and teammates
  • Adheres to Wildwood uniform policy.
  • Maintains a safe work environment for all employees, and complies with Wildwood
  • Casino Policies and procedures, as well as Health Department and OSHA policies and procedures.
  • Always maintains a clean organized work environment.
  • Performs duties in compliance with company policies as well as all Federal, State and Local safety and health standards as well as the Colorado Limited Gaming Act.
  • All employees must be willing and able to work a flexible workweek with additional hours on a non-routine basis.
  • Complies with established security policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates a good working knowledge of all casino food and beverage outlets and products. Is able to answer customers’ questions.
  • Performs other duties, including special projects, as needed and directed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

High school graduate or equivalent; three-to-six month’s related experience and/or  training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:  

  • Able to read, comprehend, and interpret simple instructions, correspondence, memos,  and documents such as safety rules, operating manuals and procedures and  maintenance instructions. 
  • Able to write routine simple correspondence.  
  • Able to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to  guests and Employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  

Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in small units of measure, using whole  numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

REASONING ABILITY:  

  • Able to apply common sense, patience and understanding while carrying out detailed  written and/or oral instructions.  
  • Able to deal with and present problem-solving ideas that involves concrete variables in  standardized situations. 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:  

Colorado Gaming License is not required.  

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:  

Strong guest service skills and the ability to ask questions and apply deductive reasoning and listening skills are essential.

Using and  viewing a computer screen on a daily basis is mandatory.
