Garden/Processing Tech

Position Summary:

Position assists in all aspects of the cultivation and growing processes tending to the daily operations of the grow facility and is responsible for the care and maintenance of recreational and medical cannabis plants in both flower and veg.

The position also assists with some harvest and post-harvest duties which may include cutting down plants, hanging and plucking them, and bucking/machining dried plants as needed.

Work will be completed at two facilities in Denver ~15 minutes apart. Management will break out the schedule for each week's work in advance.

What You Will Be Doing:

● Support Garden Managers with all garden needs and identify and report potential issues

● Follow standard operating procedures and receive constructive feedback constructively

● Maintain the garden which may include, but is not limited to activities such as: trimming, harvesting, watering, filling/mixing soil, transplanting, moving, spraying and pruning plants

● Must be able to work quickly in an ever-evolving environment, and be tolerant of heat and high humidity

● Gain and maintain knowledge of MED's laws and regulations

● Maintain a clean and organized work environment

● Must meet production goals and standards set forth by management in accordance with state compliance

● Must shower and wear clean clothes to work so as to not track pests or other elements from clothing and shoes into the facility (willing to wear scrubs if needed)

● All other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

● Current MED support or key badge required

● Must live in Colorado

● At least 21 years old

● Valid Colorado ID

● Must be able to lift up to 50lbs

● Must be able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time

● Reliable transportation

● Capability to arrive on time every day and work as scheduled to maintain a 40-hour work week

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
