Day to day job duties as a gardener include:

-Working along side Head Gardener and visiting several residential garden maintenance clients to perform tasks such as spring/fall cleanups, pruning of woody plants, deadheading roses, caring for perennials and annuals, pest and disease identification, light irrigation work, taking care of vegetable gardens, and helping to address our clients gardening questions.

Sometimes garden maintenance crew members will help out with our xeriscape installation projects, creating native gardens and habitat while helping to save water.

This would be a seasonal position with possibilities for long-term employment, and upward mobility. Candidate would need to be available throughout the summer season with hours ranging from 20-40/week depending on workload. Hiring for both Part-Time and Full-Time. Horticulture/Landscape students from CSU or Front Range welcome, we are happy to work around school schedules in the spring and fall.

Requirements/ Desired Qualities:

• Preferred that you have least 1 year experience working on a landscape/gardening crew
• Must be able to identify common plants and weeds in Colorado landscapes
• Preferred that you have some experience working seasonally i.e. farming, landscaping, gardening etc.
• Must have general horticultural knowledge, bonus points for having taken horticulture classes
• Ability to work long days in the heat with a good attitude
• Reliable transportation
• You live in the Fort Collins area
