The Role
- Compose and capture cinematic single-player and multi-player gameplay sequences for use in trailers, ads, social videos, and presentations across multiple devices;
- Find innovative solutions to achieve the best shots possible using existing in-game content and unfinished builds;
- Continuously strive to improve capture tools and workflows while supporting both creative and functional partners;
- Work closely with the other creatives, strategists, content, engineering, game creators, and Marketing teams to deliver outstanding video assets;
- Work closely with both internal teams and external agencies and freelancers to implement best practices and standards for gameplay capture, storage and delivery.
The Ideal Candidate
- You have 4+ years of experience:
- Creating game-related videos for a studio, company, or channel;
- Building and managing a team of freelance capture techs/artists
- Self-managing your time and projects
- Communicating directly with developers to troubleshoot issues with the game builds
- Navigating game engines and/or mod tools, and video capture software/hardware
- Generating detailed shot lists
- Organizing and tagging gameplay footage
- Has a passion for games and/or creating in-game video content;
- A talent for storytelling and creating compelling narratives
- Proficiency in capturing gameplay content based on limited briefs and rough edits
- Strong understanding of composition, cinematography, lighting, and action choreography
- Highly creative, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven
- Able to grasp new concepts quickly and easily adapt to a rapidly changing environment
- Communicates with authenticity, intention, and curiosity
- Familiarity with mobile user experience and/or mobile gaming

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $80,000-$350,000.
