Gardner Colby Gallery in Naples, FL is seeking a part-time Gallery Associate.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail oriented individual with excellent computer, communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. Position requires good organizational skills, energy, an ability to work collaboratively or independently, and someone looking to join and grow within our established and highly respected organization.
This position is a part- time, on site position and includes some weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
SALES: Interacts with clients, visitors and artists in a knowledgable and professional manner.
ADMINISTRATIVE: Helps maintain and update Email, Website and Art Cloud inventory programs.
MARKETING: Helps create and execute content for all Social Media accounts, working closely with gallery owner and director.
OTHER: Helps w hanging gallery; organizing artwork for delivering and shipping. Helps with the upkeep and maintenance of physical gallery space.
Qualifications
Must have some expertise in Apple, Art Cloud and Canva programs. Graphic design experience helpful.
Some sales and/or art gallery experience and/or knowledge of Art History and the current Art market is helpful.
Bachelor's Degree in an Art related subject such as Art History, Studio Art or Art administration is helpful.
Compensation: is commensurate with experience.
