Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems sector has an opening for a Future Air Dominance Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals who drive innovation. This leadership role will support one or more of our exciting, cutting-edge programsonsite in Melbourne, Florida.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree and 10 years or Master's degree with 8 years combined experience in any of the following: Defense Industry Business Development and/or Strategy, Program Management, Business Management, Contracts Management, Global Supply Chain or Active Military Service
  • Must have 8 years Leadership experience, either leading direct reports or integrated product teams
  • Must have a DoD Secret clearance (or higher) with an investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled in continuous evaluation, with the ability to obtain special program access
  • Must have planning and execution or defense acquisition program experience 6 years TACAIR pilot experience in Navy Strike Fighter Aircraft (F-35 or F/A-18E/F, ) or Air Force Fighter Aircraft (F-22, F-35, F15 OR F16)
  • Must have graduated from Weapons School (TOPGUN/USAFWS/MAWTS-1) or Test Pilot School (Navy, Air Force or Empire Test Pilot School)
  • Must have 8 years TACAIR pilot experience in Navy Strike Fighter Aircraft (F-35 or F/A-18E/F) or Air Force Fighter Aircraft (F-22, F-35, F15 OR F16)

Preferred Qualifications
  • STEM Degree
  • Experience teaching Weapons System employment and tactics development
  • Experience integrating joint and coalition capabilities across multiple warfighting domains
  • 5 years strike planning and execution or defense acquisition program experience
  • Experience in mission and/or requirements development for the following:
  • Air Dominance
  • Autonomy / Unmanned Air Vehicles
  • Air Wing of the Future
  • Carrier Air Wing Operations
  • Strike Fighter Operations
  • Multi-Domain/Joint All-Domain Command and Control
  • Business Development or program management/execution experience in one or more programs / captures
  • Proven experience developing and sustaining customer relationships
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Top Secret clearance with current TS/SCI and/or SAP
  • Strong understanding of national strategy, military roles and missions, organization, enterprise process and business contacts

Salary Range: $131,200.00 - $196,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
