Job description

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The Furniture Coordinator will focus on O&M  repair/ configuration that affects furniture moves and configurations.  O&M  repair/  configurations involving the movement of  furniture will fall under the scope of already established offices. The scope of work will not include new office fit-ups or major office renovation projects.
  • The Furniture Coordinator responsibilities shall cover the range of activities to include:
  • Coordinate with external vendors to schedule furniture deliveries, oversee deliveries, and assist the Government in ensuring the furniture is in good condition.
  • Coordinating with the Logistics team for status updates about furniture Purchase Orders processed through the Government systems (i.e., Genesis)
  • Coordinating with the furniture vendor representative to ensure furniture delivery to the customer's workspace once received at the Government's loading dock.
  • Interfacing with customers to understand their office renovation (minor) requirements will affect the movement and configuration of furniture.
  • Interfacing and coordinating with IT components that may require their involvement (i.e., disconnect/reconnect connections) relating to furniture movement and configuration.
  • Providing technical counsel, insight, and advice to the customer about the vendor's work scope. Alerting the Government to any issues that arise, which may require government decision and/or input.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or graduate equivalency
  • 24 months of general work experience

Security Clearance:

  • TS/SCI Full Scope Poly required.
  • US Citizenship is required.
