Your future team:

Industrial Melting Furnace Operator’s are members of the Production team and report to the Production Supervisor. The ROCKWOOL The Production team is responsible for ensuring the production goals are achieved.

What you bring:

• A high level of concentration
• Ability to operate production equipment in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
• Experience in machine set-up and computers
• Experience trouble shooting equipment.
• Ability to read and understand written product specifications.
• Drive and understanding key figures and how to maximize output.
• Work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated with high energy
• Good people skills
• Well organized
• Able to lift 60lbs independently or 120lbs with a colleague.
• Curiosity to learn how to melt stone into lava!

What you will be doing:

• Run and monitor all process equipment required in the Industrial Melting Furnace (IMF) area.
• Maintain steady uninterrupted flow of melt and binder to the spinners.
• Maintain a clean safe work area, reporting any problems to management immediately.
• Continuously monitor, pressures, water flow, melt flow and trouble shoot as needed.
