Funseekers Day Camp Coordinator

We have an exciting seasonal job opportunity for a FUNSEEKERS DAY CAMP COORDINATOR! You'll be responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and observation of the daily operations of Funseekers Day Camp. Must be available to attend Staff Training from May 28-June 1, willing to prepare for camp prior to staff training, and travel between two camp locations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Plan, coordinate, implement and observe a well-organized, quality and varied recreational and relaxed program offering activities in the areas of arts and crafts, drama, sports and games, outdoor recreation, field trips, special events, socialization, and quiet activities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Plan camp field trips and activities.
• Schedule, supervise and evaluate staff.
• Act as liaison between Program Supervisor and staff.
• Maintain good communication lines with staff through daily communication systems and observations.
• Serve as substitute as needed.
• Coordinate purchase of supplies, food and snacks.
• Develop and maintain good rapport and good communications with program staff.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

• 3 years of camp director experience.

WHEN YOU'LL WORK:

• May 28 - August 9
• Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7:15am - 6:00pm
• Pre-camp hours can be flexible but up to 40-hours!

WHAT YOU'LL GET:

• The starting pay for this position is $21/hour!
• This position falls under Pay Grade B with a pay range of $15.00 - $37.50.
