Form of workIn this role you will learn the various team rotations including reconciliation, transactions, daily journal and pricing of funds. The work includes research, analytics and communication with both internal and external partners for the mutual funds. In addition, performing day-to-day fund accounting activities for a group of assigned funds including calculating and reporting the daily net asset value, verifying trades and transactions, balancing cash and position holdings, reviewing and closing exceptions, and resolving discrepancies. In addition, you will compile information for monthly and quarterly reporting and semi-annual and annual audits. As a Fund Accountant I, you're responsible for ensuring all activities performed are completed in compliance with established regulatory and internal control procedures and guidelines.

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; strong preference towards a bachelor's degree in accounting with exposure to finance or other analytical course work
- Previous internship working in related field preferred
- Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, time management, interpersonal and communication skills is required
- Must be detail oriented, able to maintain a high degree of accuracy, meet established deadlines, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Must be a self-starter, and have good customer service skills
- Must have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external contacts
- Experience with Word and Excel required
- Ability to learn systems and applications used within the firm required
