Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Functional Group Facilitator forHealth IT Implementation and Interoperability to support Kadiak and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Functional Group Facilitator to join our team. The Functional Group Facilitator will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation of our Health IT system, factoring in various technical, medical, staffing, and patient needs.
As a Functional Group Facilitator, your primary responsibility will include researching and facilitating the smooth integration of a Health IT system across different Functional Groups within healthcare organizations. You will work closely with technical and non-technical teams ensuring that all stakeholders are involved and supported throughout the phases of a new Electronic Health Record system. By leveraging your expertise in Health IT, Interoperability, and the specific needs of medical facilities, you will be instrumental in driving the successful adoption and optimization of our Health IT system.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with technical teams, project managers, and business analysts to understand the functionalities and technical requirements of the health IT system.
  • Work closely with medical and non-medical personnel to understand their unique workflows, needs, and challenges related to the health IT system implementation.
  • Facilitate discussions and gather requirements from different Functional Groups within healthcare organizations, aligning their needs with the capabilities of the health IT system.
  • Research and collaborate with key stakeholders to identify key topics to support the Health IT Implementation across healthcare organizations.
  • Act as a liaison between the technical teams and non-technical personnel, ensuring effective communication and understanding of requirements on both sides.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to configure and customize the health IT system to meet the specific needs of each Functional Group and individual users.
  • Work with project managers to create and manage project plans, ensuring milestones, deadlines, and deliverables are met in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, regulations, and advancements in Health IT, sharing relevant knowledge and insights with the implementation team and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Health IT systems, preferably in a functional facilitation or implementation capacity.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare operations, medical workflows, and the unique challenges healthcare organizations face.
  • Strong technical acumen, with experience in implementing Health IT systems, such as Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems, Health Information Exchanges (HIE), and Interoperability best practices and operational solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, medical personnel, staffing departments, and patients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions.
  • Project management experience, including proficiency in creating and managing project plans, coordinating resources, and mitigating risks.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards, such as HIPAA, HITECH, and Meaningful Use, ensuring compliance throughout the implementation process.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach and a passion for improving healthcare through technology.

Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
