Eckerd Connects is an established long-standing Functional Family Therapy provider in Kansas and we are seeking a Master's Level Licensed Clinician or Social Worker to join our expanding team in Wichita, Topeka, and Pittsburg areas as a Functional Family Therapy Supervisor.


Our FFT model is not your typical “billable service” hours and allows for a generously flexible schedule, therapists really enjoy that part of working with us. We provide a small caseload (8-10 clients) which enables our Family Therapists to really help families and children, focusing on the clinical work and genuinely making a difference.

Salary Range: $65K-$70K


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervises a team of Functional Family Therapists, guiding them to meet Functional Family Therapy Child Welfare (FFT CW) quality assurance requirements. Ensures program therapy meets required standards of contract and Eckerd policies, and that documentation meets all reporting needs of county, state, FFT, and Eckerd on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. Carries a caseload of up to 5 cases.
  • Lead weekly group supervision for FFT team to assure adherence to FFT principles and the FFT analytic process.
  • Carry the required minimum caseload at all times. It is expected that families will be seen in the home a minimum of once weekly for approximately one-two hours for each visit.
  • Conduct individual supervision as needed to target Therapist competency needs and to remove individual barriers for effective implementation of FFT treatment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree, from an accredited College or University, in a licensable academic field such as Psychology, Social Work, or a related subject area required.
  • Required:Licensure as a Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Licensed Professional Counselor.
  • Minimum of 2 years applicable full-time work experience required. Preferable experience includes working with delinquency population, including individual, group and family counseling and experience providing in-home family services. Also preferred is previous experience as a FFT therapist or supervisor. A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience required.
  • Must interface effectively at all organization levels, with commitment to professional standards and personal development. Must have use of a vehicle able to conduct home visits.
  • Must be able to meet requirements for Eckerd’s Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes. Must have and maintain a valid and appropriate driver’s license, and a safe driving record.

About our Program

Eckerd Connects’ Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is an empirically grounded, well-documented and highly successful family intervention program for youth ages 11 – 18 involved in the juvenile justice system and their families. Intervention ranges from, on average, 8 to 12 one-hour sessions for mild cases and up to 30 sessions of direct service for more difficult situations, with an average length of service of three months. Services are offered in the family’s home with flexibility to work around the family’s schedule.
