Form of workNursing staff will be available to the campers, their families, and staff during Sunrise Fundays events for any first aid needs. First aid backpacks will be supplied by the camp directors for all events.
Essential Job Duties:
- Lift/move children up to 40 lbs.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile throughout the shift.
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to run and actively engage physically with children.
- React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
- Use hands for grasping play equipment and material.
- Must be able to rotate head side to side to scan the environment.
- Ability to have clear pronunciation in a loud manor.
- Mental alertness: sustain concentration for long periods of time.
Qualifications:
- Nursing degree and certification with previous experience working with children required.
- Pediatric oncology, school nurse, or ER nurse preferred.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to multitask.
