We are seeking a highly skilled Senior and SME DevOps Engineer to join our talented team and contribute to the success of our projects.
Job Description: As a Senior and SME DevOps/Kubernetes Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and managing continuous delivery systems and methodologies on Kubernetes (K8s), including AKS and Rancher. You will play a key role in automating, optimizing, and managing our CI/CD processes to enhance our operational efficiency and ensure the high quality of our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Kubernetes, AKS, Rancher, and other relevant technologies.
- Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline DevOps processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of software solutions.
- Monitor and optimize the performance and scalability of systems and applications.
- Ensure system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and Kubernetes ecosystems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the DevOps domain.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related technical roles.
- Proficient with Kubernetes, AKS, Rancher, and CI/CD tools.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration.
- Experience with automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef, or an equivalent.
- Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and cloud services.
- Strong experience with SQL and MySQL (NoSQL experience is a plus).
- A working understanding of code and script (PHP, Python, Perl, and/or Ruby).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience in federal government Cloud or IT systems, familiar with CIS NIST standards.
- Well-versed in healthcare IT systems, with a focus on compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Background in healthcare systems technology.
