About the Role:
Job Title: Fullstack Java Developer
Location: Plano, TX - Hybrid 3 days on-site
Job Description:
Ascendion is hiring for a leading Financial Services firm that is committed to delivering innovative solutions to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Fullstack Java Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge financial software solutions.
Day To Day Responsbilities:
- Collaborate with technology peers and product owners to ensure successful project delivery.
- Translate functional requirements into technical design and requirements. Utilize Agile methodology and SDLC tools to improve development and testing efficiency (JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, Lint).
- Develop applications using Core Java, Object Oriented Programming, and Spring.
- Implement micro services frameworks and tools such as Spring Boot, Jersey, Swagger.
- Work with container based development and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Stay updated on industry technology trends and best practices.
- Contribute to building an innovative culture within the organization.
Must Have:
- 8+ years of strong experience in Core Java, Object Oriented Programming, Spring
- Strong understanding of Agile methodology and leveraging SDLC tools (JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, Lint), noSQL, Kafka, MQ
- Back end coding experience with JDK11, JDK17, Cassandra, Oracle EDC
- Experience with end to end coding and testing
- Experience building deployments
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
- Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
- Ability to translate functional requirements to technical design and requirements.
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $100,000- $110,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is eligible for commissions in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions for this position are estimated to be based on individual performance. Additionally, this role is also eligible for bonus based on achievement of mutually agreed KRAs.
