We’re currently looking for a patient-centered part-time Surgical Technician to support our ambulatory surgery center. SURGICAL TECHNICIAN JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for assisting the doctors during surgeries and managing the materials before, during and after surgeries.
SURGICAL TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist doctors with In-Office procedures and surgeries at Surgery Center
- Material Management including counting instruments before and after operations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies.
- Assisting the Surgery Center Director when necessary
- Maintain proper sterile field during surgeries.
- Wash and sterilize equipment.
- Monitor operating room conditions.
- Operate, assemble, adjust, and monitor equipment during surgeries.
SURGICAL TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:
- Surgical Technician Certification Preferred but not required.
- Prior experience working in critical care, OR and hospital.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Problem solving skills and patience.
- Effective oral and written interpersonal communication skills.
