Full Time Special Needs Nanny & Housekeeper

Responsibilities:

East Texas Nannies is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time nanny to provide comprehensive care for a Special Needs 5-year-old boy, who is non-verbal. This position guarantees 40 hours per week and encompasses a range of duties to support both the child and the family.

In addition to providing attentive care for the child, responsibilities include preparing dinner for the family and performing thorough housekeeping tasks while the child is at school. Upon the child's return home, the nanny will focus solely on his needs, ensuring a tidy environment before departure each day.

Flexibility for summer travel is essential, as the family frequently travels to the Caribbean and would like the nanny to accompany them if possible. A valid passport is required, and to support travel needs, a gas card will be provided.

With a new baby expected in June, the ideal candidate will have experience in infant care or be open to completing an online course to enhance their skills. Full health insurance coverage is offered as part of this position.

We are seeking a candidate who is confident in their abilities in cooking, cleaning, and childcare, and who possesses a compassionate and patient demeanor.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in childcare, particularly with Special Needs children.

- Willingness to complete an online infant care course if needed.

- Confidence in cooking, cleaning, and childcare skills.

- Valid passport for potential travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
