Occupational Therapist Job Details:

• Full-time strongly preferred, part-time candidates considered
• Middle school position
• Itinerate position
• Travel time is paid
• Commutable toMenoken, KS
• W-2 position

Occupational Therapist Requirements:

• Active Kansas Occupational Therapy license
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Previous experience as a School Occupational Therapist is preferred, but not required new graduates encouraged to apply
• Experience working with a range of professionals, teachers, students, and other therapists strongly preferred

Occupational Therapist Job Description:

• Complete evaluations, interprets evaluations, provides written documentation of students evaluation performance and makes appropriate recommendations for services
• Provide written documentation of students evaluation performance
• Based on the evaluation and the IEP, implements therapy services through direct and indirect delivery models and observes student engagement and provides strategies and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to facilitate student participation and occupational performance with adaptations/modifications in a variety of learning environments
• Documents student progress as indicated by IEP
• Attends IEP meetings and participates in collaborative team meetings/parent meetings
