Full time pet sitter

We are currently looking for people with experience BEYOND owning your own pets. Experience such as working in a vet office, humane shelter, or groomer are preferred.

Job requirements:

Animal savvy-comfortable walking large dogs, using a variety of harnesses/leashes/collars, scooping litter boxes, cleaning up pet messes, handling dogs and cats with behavior issues

Good with people--can communicate promptly and politely with clients, and with other members of the team, drama and rudeness won’t be tolerated

Available-MUST be able to work weekends and holidays. Pet visits go all throughout the day. Added bonus if you can do overnight jobs. Our first visits are offered at 7am and last visits are offered at 9-10pm

Attention to detail- there are SO many details involved in this job-every home you enter has a different set of instructions regarding alarm systems, home care and pet care. We prioritize cleanliness, timeliness and being detailed oriented is a must!

Reliable Vehicle--4wd is a plus in the winter. Must be able to transport dogs to vet in emergency. The job requires a lot of driving Sometimes in inclement weather and in the dark

Good communicator--this is key in the ever changing schedule and details for pet visits. schedules often change daily, must be good at ‘going with the flow’

Smart phone - we use apps for checking in and out of Visits along with a group communication app.

Trustworthy--must pass a background check and several tests. Clients trust us to be in their homes unattended and there is zero room for doubt.

Bonus- Barn/livestock experience, Rescue pet experience, Multiple pet home experience is a plus.
