About the Family:

• This active family has three children ages 8 (outgoing and loves sports), 6 (creative and enjoys arts & crafts), and 4 (energetic and full of curiosity).
• Both parents are involved in their children's activities (sports, etc.).
• They enjoy spending time outdoors golfing and exploring, and of course, making the most of their pool!
• One parent works from home full-time, while the other works from home when not traveling for work.

The Ideal Candidate:

• You are a fun, energetic individual who thrives around children
• (3+ years of experience required).
• You are authorized to work in the USA and are comfortable undergoing a background check and drug screening.
• You are CPR certified (or willing to obtain certification before your start date).
• Excellent organizational skills and a knack for managing busy schedules are essential.
• Reliability, responsibility, and a First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain one) are crucial qualities.
• Must be a strong swimmer and comfortable supervising children around water.
• This family has a pool, and safety is a top priority.
• Bonus points if you love large dogs! This family has a Great Pyrenees (Moose) and a Newfoundland puppy (Pickles) who you'll help care for.
• You are eager to become part of loving family and lend a helping hand!

About the Position:

• You will provide care for the three children, primarily Monday-Friday, with weekend hours discussed in advance.
• We offer a guaranteed 40-hour workweek with flexible hours (8 hours per day).

· Live-in Nanny Accommodations (if applicable): Spacious private bedroom with a king-size bed, walk-in closet, recliner chair, private TV, and individual climate control (heat/AC). The private bathroom includes a toilet, sink, storage closet, and a standing shower.

Responsibilities:

• Mornings: Wake children gently, assist them with getting dressed and preparing for school, prepare a healthy and balanced breakfast, ensure they eat and brush their teeth, pack lunches (if needed), and handle all logistics for a smooth and timely school departure.
• School and Afternoons: Manage school drop-off/pick-up (car provided with gas stipend). Plan and implement engaging age-appropriate activities (indoor and outdoor) that cater to each child's interests and developmental needs. This may include arts & crafts, storytelling, educational games, sports or outdoor play (weather permitting). Assist with homework, ensuring proper understanding and completion.
• Evenings: Help prepare and serve a nutritious dinner, supervise bath time and bedtime routines (including reading stories and tucking in).
• General Care: Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children by tidying up play areas and bedrooms. Help with light housekeeping tasks like laundry and dishes (as needed).
• Dog Care (when the traveling parent is away): Let Moose (Great Pyrenees) and Pickles (Newfoundland puppy) outside to use the bathroom on a designated schedule. Ensure they have fresh water in their bowls throughout the day.
• Communication: Keep parents informed throughout the day about the children's activities, meals, any important developments, and dog care. Maintain a positive and professional relationship with the parents, discussing concerns and collaborating on childcare and dog care strategies.
