Job Description:
A private family in Greenwich, Connecticut, seeks a professional nanny to care for their 3-year-old daughter. The nanny's responsibilities include managing all aspects related to the child’s care, collaborating closely with the parents, and understanding developmental milestones. The nanny should be adept at creating and maintaining the child’s schedule, introducing healthy foods to expand her diet, and engaging in activities like school, classes, and outings. Routine travel is expected, so being passport-ready is essential.
Although the family employs housekeepers, the nanny will be responsible for the child’s laundry, cleaning up after meals, organizing rooms, clothes, and toys, and managing the storage of outgrown items. The family also has a small poodle and expects occasional assistance with pet care.
The family highly values communication and professionalism. The nanny should minimize personal calls during work hours and be adaptable to assist with tasks beyond childcare as needed. They expect discretion, a drama-free attitude, and respect for family privacy. A clean driving record and safe driving skills are mandatory.
