Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce images of patients' internal organs and tissues. Your expertise in medical imaging and diagnostic evaluation will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with accurate diagnoses.
Duties:
- Perform MRI scans on patients using specialized equipment
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process
- Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions during the procedure
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any adverse reactions or complications
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, procedures, and results
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images
- Follow established protocols and safety guidelines to ensure high-quality imaging results
- Calibrate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Certification as an MRI Technologist
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic evaluation techniques and medical imaging procedures
- Experience with various imaging modalities such as X-Ray, PET scan, mammography, and sonography
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret images
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
