Location: Hastings, Nebraska

Salary: $16 to $18 an hour

The Opportunity:

As a Lot Porter, you will be essential in managing our dealership's vehicle inventory. This role involves meticulously organizing and positioning both new and pre-owned vehicles on the lot, preparing them for display, sale, and delivery. You will also be responsible for capturing high-quality photos of the vehicles using advanced technology and equipment.

Your responsibilities will go beyond the lot boundaries, as you will offer courtesy transportation for our customers to and from the dealership during their service appointments. In doing so, you'll deliver a friendly and professional experience that reflects our dealership's commitment to service.

Furthermore, you'll play a supportive role in our service department, helping to move customer vehicles and contributing to the efficiency of our service operations. This position is dynamic, encompassing a variety of tasks that will evolve, including additional duties as required. Training:

While prior experience in the automotive industry is a plus, it's not a requirement. We're looking for the right candidate to train from the ground up, teaching you everything there is to know about this position!

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the dealership lot's cleanliness and organization, ensuring an attractive presentation of the vehicle inventory.
• Move vehicles to designated areas on the lot, optimizing space usage and adhering to display standards.
• Conduct essential maintenance checks on vehicles, such as verifying and adjusting tire pressure and topping off fluid levels to ensure they meet the dealership's quality standards.
• Photograph vehicles for online listings and promotional materials, ensuring images are clear and accurately represent the vehicle's condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service, greeting and assisting guests with inquiries and ensuring a positive experience at the dealership.
• Provide service customers with transportation as needed, contributing to a smooth and efficient experience for service department clients.
• Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, reflecting the dealership's commitment to excellence in customer service.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
