Job Description
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental health or emotional issues
- Offer assistance to individuals with substance abuse issues
- Provide prevention-oriented therapy
- Implement and review treatment plans
- Collaborate with additional treatment providers and placement agencies
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
- Work with family members and offer family therapy
- Provide group and individual services including weekly individual services
- Ideal candidates will have a master's degree in the mental health counseling field and be eligible for licensure
- Clinical supervision offered in accordance with DORA guidelines
- Ability to work in Residential, PHP, and IOP setting.
- Master's Degree in process or completed
- LPC, LCSW, or LMFT required
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to manage time and schedule independently
- Previous experience with EHR preferred.
