About the Program and Hours
- Hospitalists admit 3-7 patients per day
- Daily Census is 21-27 patients per day
- Hospitalist APP round, seen new patients, and do discharge planning
- Required Procedures: Central Lines, Arterial Lines, Intubation
- OSU Medical Residents rotate through Hospitalist program
- Hospital EMR is Meditech
- 15,750 Annual visit ED
- 10% admission rate from the ED
- Medhost EMR for the ED
- 12-hour physician shift (7a-7p) and remote on-call from 7p-7a
- 10-hour APP shift (7-5p)
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
- Candidate Must be PA or FNP/ACNP BE/BC
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS required.
- Must live/relocate to Oklahoma or be within a 4-hour drive
