Full Time Groundskeeper

Roots Management Group is a growing property management company that operates manufactured housing communities throughout the US. We are currently seeking a full-time employee to maintain the grounds of a mobile home community.

Responsibilities will include:

• Light handy man tasks (light electrical repairs, plumbing, painting, and interior and exterior upkeep)
• Following company safety standards
• Maintaining cleanliness of property by doing custodial work of common areas - sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Ensuring the appearance of the property is safe, neat, and welcoming
• Report Bulk trash items to management for tenant charges and assist with bulk trash removal
• Daily and weekly inspection of all common areas, homes, home-sites, and premises
• Assisting in enforcing community rules, maintaining community safety, and responding to emergencies as needed
• Perform landscaping cleanup, watering, weeding, mowing, trimming, and fertilizing
• Some knowledge of basic tools and carpentry to assist when needed
• Stocking supplies as needed
• Participate in work orders provided by management as needed
• Pool cleaning and light maintenance (if applicable)
• Shovel snow and operate snowplow in common areas as needed (if applicable)
• Other tasks as needed or assigned by management

Expectations:

• Ability to move around the property in all types of weather conditions.
• A significant amount of physical activity (walking, climbing stairs or ladders, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, crawling, reaching above shoulder height, grasping, gripping, turning, or lifting) is required daily.
• Able to lift to 80 pounds frequently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Experience:

• Groundskeeping: 1 year (Preferred)
• zero turn mower: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
