- Hospitalist
About the Program and Hours
- 9 Bed Emergency Department
- 8,100 Annual visit ED
- 24-hour EM APP shift (7a-7p)
- ED is staffed by a single coverage EM APP.
- EM APP performs advanced procedures and advanced airway management.
- At Night, EM APP will write bridge orders for admissions and cover floor pts.
- Hospitalist will come to the ED for volume surges and/or procedure assistance.
- Average HM pt encounters per day: 7
Qualifications
- Active New York license in the state or ability to attain unrestricted state license
- Candidate Must be PA or FNP BE/BC
- Active ACLS, ATLS, BLS and PALS
- Prior experience as a solo provider in the ED
- Advanced procedure and airway management skills and comfort
- Must be comfortable with PED pts.
