The Fulfillment Lead is responsible for safely delivering and setting up our rental furniture at events as well as being the face of our business onsite to ensure a positive client experience. You will also be regularly helping us manage our inventory at our warehouse, which includes prepping/cleaning furniture for outgoing/incoming jobs.

Please note that being a part of the event industry requires working on weekends and nights with a shift schedule that changes week to week. It is great for someone who has a flexible schedule and enjoys a fast paced and challenging, but fun, environment! We are a growing company with opportunities for advancement.

You will be responsible for:

• Ensuring on-Time Delivery and pickup of our rental furniture for our client's events

• Packing trucks before events and keeping our inventory safe + unloading trucks after pick up and putting items back in the warehouse properly

• Managing the delivery crew (there will always be at least 1 crew member accompanying a lead)

• Coming in for warehouse shifts 1-3 times a week to help with furniture cleaning, maintenance and other tasks to ensure our inventory is looking it's best

• Being the point of contact for each job on behalf of our company and communicating with the client onsite in a professional and helpful manner

• Making sure furniture onsite is clean

• Setting up furniture onsite according to provided layouts/floor plans or following the set up instructions of onsite planner

• Assisting our Warehouse Coordinator with other inventory and warehouse related tasks, such as organization, moving items around, light repairs, running errands, etc

Requirements:

• Experience driving a 14-26’ box truck

• A valid driver’s license and safe driving record

• Not afraid to talk to clients and can stay professional and polite under pressure

• Reliable phone with internet access

• Physically able and willing to move furniture; ability to lift 50+ pounds

• Strong time management skills

• Not afraid to ask questions

• Not afraid to communicate!

• Able to commute to and from our warehouse located in SE Austin 24/7

Compensation and Benefits:

• After a 30 day trial period, you will be guaranteed 30/hours a week at $22-24/hour depending on experience ($34,320/year)

Schedule:

• Must be able to work nights, mornings and weekends—shifts can start as early as 6 am and end (typically) no later than 1-2am. No overnights.

• The majority of the shifts will be picking up our furniture from events in the evening hours (typical event pickup times are between 8pm-midnight).

• Your schedule will often be similar to "Split Shifts" where you will come in for an event delivery early in the day and return for the event pickup later in the day/evening.

• Busy season (fall, spring)—hours will be spent primarily on job deliveries occurring throughout the day and night.

• Low season (winter, summer)—you will be needing to complete 2-3 shifts spent helping in the warehouse with a more “normal” 9am-5pm schedule on non-busy weeks.
