Porters Neck Village is recruiting for a hospitality focused Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our team! The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) assists the nurse on duty to emergencies and responds to emergencies on their own when necessary, charts and completes other administrative duties, coordinates with outside vendors such as podiatry, participates in on call rotation, and covers Resident Care Clinic (RCC) independently as necessary.
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and eligible for our full benefits package!
Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an LPN:
- Responds to compus emergencies to include but not limited to medical, fire and disaster related emergencies with or without the direct supervision of the LPN/RN on duty.
- Provides treatment in the forms of first aid, CPR, wound care/dressing changes, eye drops and vital signs to residents and associates
- Daily follow ups for falls, patient condition changes, post hospitalizations, post rehab, etc.
- Assists with data entry and other administrative tasks including COVID tracking initiatives
Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:
- Current CMA certification valid in state worked
- Willingness to be available for any/all emergencies regarding the community
- Working knowledge of Office 365 business office suite with the abilty to create a document or simple spreadsheet
- Ability to learn relevant business sytem tools
