Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate a team of on-call caregivers to ensure smooth operations and continuous care coverage for clients.
- Manage caregiver schedules, including handling last-minute call-offs and finding suitable replacements.
- Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to caregivers to enhance their caregiving skills and knowledge.
- Oversee client care plans and ensure they are followed diligently, reporting any significant changes or concerns to the appropriate parties.
- Monitor and assess the performance of on-call caregivers, providing feedback and recognition when appropriate.
- Serve as a point of contact for clients and their families, addressing any questions, concerns, or emergencies that arise.
- Collaborate with the HR department to recruit and onboard new caregivers when needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of caregiver assignments, client interactions, and other relevant information.
- Uphold the company's policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in caregiving or a related field.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle scheduling and logistics effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, caregivers, and the management team.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with composure and make quick decisions when necessary.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work on-call, including weekends and holidays.
