At Associated Environmental Systems, you'll:
● Work alongside talented engineers to build and maintain our full-Stack Web applications.
● Contribute to all stages of the development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.
● Champion technical excellence, advocating for best practices and innovative solutions.
● Collaborate effectively with designers, product owners, and other developers.
● Embrace continuous learning and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.
● Be exposed to all parts of our product stack from bare sheet metal to backend and UI
development
We're looking for someone who:
● Has 3 - 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Web Developer
● Possesses strong proficiency in:
○ Containerized development and deployment (Docker/Kubernetes)
○ Programming languages: Python, Javascript
○ Databases: MongoDB, SQL, InfluxDB, PostgreSQL
○ Frameworks: Express.js, React.js, Next.js, Redux, Socket.IO, Node.js
○ Testing: Unit testing frameworks and debugging tools like Mocha, Chai and Jest
○ Linux/Unix based systems
○ Implementing API (OpenAPI, RESTful)
● Excels in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
● Demonstrates initiative, adaptability, and time management skills.
Bonus Points for:
● Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
● Experience with machine learning or AI development
● Experience with C
● Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and tools
● A strong understanding of application security principles
