Job Description
SUMMARY
iFIT's vision is to create the world's most holistic health and fitness platform, integrating all elements of health - physical fitness, mental health, nutrition and active recovery - into a seamless interactive experience. We develop proprietary software that learns and adjusts to the habits of each person as it delivers immersive content that guides them on their individual fitness journey.
We are currently seeking an ambitious pace-setter to join our team as aFull Stack Developer remotely.
ROLE COMMITMENTS

• Assist in building/maintaining iFIT's best in class AI model with features such as streaks, fitness tracking and third party integrations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design client-side and server-side architecture including the UX/UI and documentation
• Code and/or create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Collaborates with stakeholders to scope requested new features and analyzes user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Writes consistent, clean, and maintainable code. Evaluates code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with various browsers, devices, or operating systems
• Mentor Junior developers and interns
• Explore and experiments with innovative trends in the software industry to provide recommendations to improve our processes
• Helps identify opportunities within our processes where the automation group can add value and recommends solutions
• Helps define standards and processes to assure code quality
• Other duties may be assigned

Desired Qualifications, Education, and/or Experience
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Education and Basic Qualifications
  
  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in software development.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient with Git and Github
• A working knowledge of agile development (scrum, kanban, etc)
• Proficient in one or more modern industry-standard software object-oriented language such as C#
• Has experience with JavaScript frameworks: Angular, React and Node.js
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role with strong knowledge of Javascript.
• Experience working with SQL and No-SQL databases. Able to write efficient queries
• Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and experience with integrating them into the development flow
• Experience with the MEAN or MERN stack is a plus
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Experience with an AI framework such as TensorFlow and data visualizations is a plus
• Very strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent written verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Works well independently and loves to explore new ideas for process improvement
