Job Description
What We Do
Dispel supplies remote access and communications capabilities for critical systems. By “critical”, the range of systems we serve operate at 37,500 feet below sea level, 1,000 kilometers above the earth’s service, and control the flow of roughly 1 trillion gallons of water per year. We also serve as the remote access system in less extreme environments, like the factories that produce 30% of the manufactured food in Africa, and the production lines for the coffee consumed by over 40% of American households.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for Full-Stack Web/API Engineers to join our team. Engineering at Dispel is a technical and social experience. Many of us have worked together for years. We do what we do because it has an immediate impact on the machines, waterways, factories, and systems that make the American way of life possible. We love the adventure of being part of a scaleup. On our team, every person participates in solving problems and improving code and infrastructure.
You need to know how to build advanced web applications and be comfortable working with visual design systems. You should enjoy working on teams and have stories to tell about it. You should be looking for a place where relentless, fast-paced, creative work will get rewarded. If you like producing content that is formatted, fast, and factual, consider applying.
We care about the degree you received and where you received it from. We also care about experience, and the places where you chose to work.
Where You Can Work
We operate as a hybrid remote work company, with centers of gravity in Texas, New York, and Virginia. You must be located within the United States while programming and be willing and able to periodically travel to one of those geographic centers.
