Full Stack Engineer

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, with a strong emphasis on server-side development
• Expertise in client-side development with Nuxt 3, and server-side development with Django REST. Experience in other related frameworks is acceptable
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL with experience in Database Modeling
• Experience with cloud services, specifically AWS, and migrating services from platforms like Heroku to AWS
• Proficient in integrating third-party services, with prior experience in Docusign and/or Stripe integrations being a plus
• Demonstrated ability to design user interfaces and contribute to UX/UI discussions and planning
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will be pivotal in guiding our product development, UX, integration and market research strategies, with a direct reporting line to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Your expertise in full-stack development will be crucial in building, maintaining, and enhancing our engineering solutions to ensure they are robust, scalable, maintainable and efficient. You’ll play a pivotal role in developing our AI/ML implementation strategy allowing for a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of technological innovation in an exciting new industry while working on causes important to you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with the CTO and Product Team to develop and refine our product vision, with a keen focus on the integration of Generative AI technologies
• Develop and maintain client-side applications using Nuxt 3, ensuring a seamless, engaging user experience
• Design and implement APIs in Django REST, managing data effectively with PostgreSQL to support future AI-driven features
• Lead the integration of third-party services such as Docusign and Stripe, enhancing our platform’s functionality and user experience
• Drive the design and development of user interfaces, working closely with the product team on user flows, wireframes, and prototypes
• Participate in code reviews, maintaining high code quality and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Research and implement new technologies and integrations, with a particular focus on Generative AI, to keep our product at the cutting edge
• Be involved in managing deployments and overseeing AWS services and infrastructure, helping in our future migration from Heroku to AWS
