As a Full Stack AEM Developer you will be responsible for translating the requirements into technical designs which includes enterprise-level architecture and implementing strategies developing and using components of the Adobe AEM platform to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments.

Job Description
As a Full Stack AEM Developer you will be responsible for translating the requirements into technical designs which includes enterprise-level architecture and implementing strategies developing and using components of the Adobe AEM platform to support multi-site, multi-channel, multi-lingual delivery environments.
What you get to do in this role:
- Build websites and applications using Adobe Experience Manager.
- Contributing to front-end and back-end development processes.
- Design and develop AEM components and page templates, combining backend Java, HTL/Slightly, Sling, CRX, OSGI, JCR, HTML/CSS, and frontend JavaScript frameworks technologies.
- Develop and oversee OSGI bundles, AEM templates, Web and HTL/Sightly components, Micro services, workflows, localization features, AEM Mobile and Forms applications and the AEM DAM
- Work with Architects to ensure that scalable AEM solutions are created, alongside equally talented CMS engineers.
- Create UX experience for Web Production to update business critical content to ServiceNow.com
- Apply deep understanding of AEM and other Adobe solutions like Launch, Analytics and Target to make appropriate technical decisions.
- Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide work breakdown and estimates of work.
- Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure optimal code quality and appropriate design patterns are used.
- Own and support feature-focused unit and system testing, including features built by other developers on the team, to ensure each project delivers a high-quality application.
- Performs unit testing, implementation, and production application support.
- Participates in troubleshooting problems related to webpage performance & mobile web optimization.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Bachelors or Masters in computer science or related field.
- Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM)
- 2+ years of experience implementing Adobe AEM 6.5 and later required. Design, develop and support AEM components, integrations, and applications.
- Minimum of 4years software development experience
- Minimum of 4 years with J2EE programming experience with deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly skills, combined with a strong understanding of enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.
- Internet related system development for a public-facing internet web site.
- Proficient in Day CQ / Adobe AEM foundational concepts, including the use of core frameworks such as OSGI, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, a solid understanding of all of the related building blocks including templates, components, dialogs, widgets, etc., and the Adobe AEM development and deployment process.
- Good understanding of Day CQ /Adobe AEM WCM capabilities including Multi-site manager and Blueprinting, and the use of online marketing components such as advanced targeting / personalization, and multi-variate testing, is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with Java, JSP, Servlets, JSTL, Struts, Spring MVC, RESTful & SOAP Based Web Services.
- Experience working with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies.
- Understanding of integration AEM Cloud Services (Target, Analytics, Translation Connectors...) is a plus.
- Understanding Agile development including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Deployment/Delivery practices tools and process.
- Experience working with tools like Docker, Maven, Jenkins, CI/CD, Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
- Motivation and an interest in enhancing skills and learning new technologies.
- Experience working with geographically separate project teams.
- The ability to work independently with minimal oversight while delivering outstanding results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
